In celebrating 40 years in India, India Yamaha Motor has introduced a 5-year Roadside Assistance Program (RSA) at a mere Rs 975. This is another new customer-centric initiative launched by the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer as it had earlier offered a first in the market, a 10-year warranty on all made-in-India motorcycles and scooters.

Roadside Assistance: What is covered?

The comprehensive 5-year Roadside Assistance (RSA) program is priced affordably at Rs 975. This initiative reinforces Yamaha’s commitment to enhancing customer experience by providing dependable and timely support across the country. The program is designed to offer complete peace of mind to riders by addressing a wide range of on-road emergencies.

The RSA package includes essential services such as towing assistance in case of a breakdown or accident, battery jumpstart, flat tyre support, minor running repairs, and even medical assistance when required. These features ensure that Yamaha riders are never alone on the road and can rely on swift help regardless of location or time.

Yamaha’s product lineup caters from performance motorcycles like the YZF-R3 and MT-03 to scooters such as the Fascino 125 FI Hybrid and Ray ZR 125 FI Hybrid. The newly launched RSA program aligns with Yamaha’s broader vision of delivering not just cutting-edge mobility but also unmatched customer care.

10-year warranty at no cost

The new warranty package includes a 2-year standard warranty and an additional 8-year extended warranty, covering essential components such as the engine, electrical systems, and the Fuel Injection (Fi) unit.

Yamaha Motor has raised the bar by making its warranty fully transferable to future owners, significantly boosting the resale value of its vehicles. This thoughtful feature reflects Yamaha’s focus on long-term reliability and its dedication to customer satisfaction. More than just an extended warranty, this move underscores Yamaha’s intent to build enduring relationships with its riders while delivering a premium and worry-free ownership journey.
