Yamaha has unveiled its latest version of the NMax 125 scooter for the global market. The latest variant is the range-topping trim that Yamaha calls Tech Max. The new Yamaha NMax 125 Tech Max scooter is based on the standard model, however, it gets a few add-ons, and the scooter is expected to make its debut at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo.
New Yamaha NMax 125 Tech Max — What is new?
The latest 125cc Tech Max gets dual projector LED lighting, slightly tweaked ergonomics, a 25-litre storage area, keyless ignition, and type-C charging ports. Yamaha has also given the NMax Tech Max a new 4.2-inch TFT display with navigation by Garmin. The scooter gets leather upholstery as well to give it the premiumness.
Other features shared with other variants of the NMax include the telescopic front suspension, a monoshock at the rear, 13-inch tyres, alloy wheels, and disc brakes at both ends with ABS amongst others. The new Yamaha NMax 125 Tech Max is available in two colour options: Ceramic Grey and Dark Magma.
New Yamaha NMax 125 Tech Max — Engine specifications
The engine remains the standard unit, compliant with the latest Euro 5 norms. It is a 125cc liquid-cooled motor that makes 12bhp of power and 11.2Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a CVT like most scooters. Yamaha does not sell the NMax in India currently, however, the company is expected to showcase the scooter at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo.
