September is set to launch a host of new two-wheeler launches as manufacturers gear up to capitalize on the festive season. This month will bring a variety of motorcycles, scooters, and the first-of-its-kind ethanol motorcycle. Below are the key launches to look out for.
Jawa 42
Jawa is launching the all-new Jawa 42 on September 3. The motorcycle will be based on a new frame with a bigger 334 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which is borrowed from the Jawa 350. We will have to wait and see what will be the output. The new Jawa 42 could get a new digital instrument console, all LED illumination and dual-channel ABS.
Royal Enfield Classic 650

Royal Enfield is gearing up for the official media ride of the Classic 650, anticipated to occur this month, with the launch also expected within the same timeframe. The Classic will join as the fourth 650 cc motorcycle in their lineup, equipped with a 648 cc parallel-twin engine that delivers 47 bhp at 7250 rpm and 52 Nm of torque at 5250 rpm. It will feature a six-speed transmission.
Hero Destini 125
Hero is set to launch the updated 2024 Destini 125 on September 7. The leading two-wheeler company in the country will enhance the scooter with fresh design elements, new colour options, an all-new LED headlight featuring an H-shaped LED DRL, and new LED tail lamps. Additionally, the Destini 125 will sport a new saddle and a backrest for the pillion rider. It will retain the 124.6 cc engine, delivering 9 bhp and 10.4 Nm of torque, with a shock absorber at the rear.
Bajaj Ethanol Motorcycle
Bajaj has confirmed that the company is working on ethanol-powered two-wheelers and three-wheelers. In an interview, Rajiv Bajaj, MD, Bajaj Auto, stated that the ethanol vehicles will be launched by the end of this financial year. The vehicles will be showcased this month. Earlier, Bajaj Auto unveiled these vehicles at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Show.Â
