The start of a new financial year has already seen plenty of activities in the global automotive industry. That said, there’ll be plenty of action at home as well with several products lined up for launch in the next few weeks. Here are all the two-wheelers about to be launched in India in the month of April.
KTM 390 Enduro R
KTM will launch the 390 Enduro R this month and the bikemaker has already teased the same on its social media handles. It is the first time that the Austrian brand is bringing an endurance motorcycle to India. Designed to tackle all off-road scenarios at higher speeds, the 390 Enduro R will share much of its underpinnings with the recently launched 390 Adventure. It will be powered by a 399cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that churns out 45.3bhp and 39 Nm of peak torque while being paired with a six-speed gearbox.

Expected Price: Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom)
KTM 390 SMC R
Besides the Enduro R, KTM will also launch the 390 SMC R in the country, the first supermoto-styled bike by the company. It will also be the first sub-500cc supermoto in India. It shares all its major components with the 390 Enduro R barring smaller 17-inch spoke wheels at both ends shod with road-biased tyres. It is a fun-street bike which can occasionally be enjoyed at a track.Â

Expected Price: Rs 3.20 lakh (ex-showroom)
Hero Karizma XMR 250
We recently reported that Hero MotoCorp may pull the plug on the Karizma XMR 210 after dismal sales figures over the last one year. The company is most likely to replace the Karizma 210 with a more powerful Karizma XMR 250 which was showcased at EICMA 2024 in Milan. It will share its underpinnings and powertrain with the recently launched Xtreme 250R. Upon launch, the Karizma XMR 250 will compete against the likes of Suzuki Gixxer SF250 and KTM RC 200.

Expected Price: Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom)
2025 Kawasaki Z900
Kawasaki phased out the older Z900 in India by offering attractive discounts last month. The Japanese superbike brand will replace it with the facelifted Z900 that broke cover internationally in November 2024. A patent of the updated super naked was filed recently and we expect Kawasaki to launch the bike sometime later this month. It will be powered by a 948cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine that dishes out 122 bhp and 97.4 Nm of peak torque.

Expected Price: Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom)
Bajaj Chetak 3503
From motorcycles we move on to scooters. Bajaj will launch the third model in the new 35 Series of Chetak. The upcoming Chetak 3503 will be the new entry-level model to the lineup. It will be devoid of some of the premium features available in the higher variants but expected to offer similar specs. It is expected to come equipped with a 3.5kW battery that offers a range of over 150 km (ARAI) on a single charge.

Expected Price: Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom)
Suzuki eAccess
Suzuki is expected to launch its first electric two-wheeler in the form of eAccess around the middle of this month. The all-electric version of Access made its debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year. The electric scooter has already been listed on the company’s website and official bookings for the same are expected to commence soon. It will be powered by a 4.1 kW electric motor that pushes out 15 Nm of torque. This motor draws energy from a 3.07 kWh LFP battery that promises a range of 95 km on a single charge.

Expected Price: Rs 1.00 lakh (ex-showroom)
