Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the updated version of the Trident in India. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 8.49 lakh, ex-showroom. It sees a hike of around Rs 37,000, depending on the colour scheme, as the previous model started from Rs 8.37 lakh. We take a closer look at the 2025 Trident 660 and find out whether the price hike is justified.
2025 Triumph Trident 660: What’s new?

Triumph has packed the 2025 Trident 660 with a long list of features that now come standard. With a new Sport mode, the Trident 660 offers three ride modes, including Road and Rain. Features that are available in the premium motorcycle range are now available with the new updated model, like the quickshifter and Bluetooth connectivity. Earlier, Triumph charged a hefty price for these functions in the older model. With Shift Assist, which allows up and down gear changes without using the clutch and cruise control, reduces riders’ fatigue.
It also comes with an integrated full-colour TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity into the instrument dial, along with turn-by-turn navigation and full phone functionality to deliver unrivalled levels of rider convenience. It continues to be equipped with ride-by-wire throttle. To improve safety, Triumph has introduced optimised cornering ABS and traction control.
The Trident 660 continues to sport all LED headlights, tail lamps and self-cancelling indicators.
2025 Triumph Trident 660: Optional accessories

The 2025 Trident 660 offers an array of optional accessories, like a USB charger installed beneath the seat and an accessory fit to hook up your GoPro and control it with ease. For additional protection, there’s the frame protection, front axle protectors, engine cover protection and tank pad. To enhance styling, one can opt for a colour flyscreen, classic bar-end mirrors and an aluminium underbelly.
2025 Triumph Trident 660: Engine Specifications
The Trident 660 continues to be powered by a 660 cc liquid-cooled 3-cylinder with an output of 81 bhp at 10,250 rpm and 64 Nm at 6,250 rpm. The motorcycle is available in four colour options — Jet Black, Diablo Red/Sapphire Black, Cosmic Yellow/Sapphire Black and Cobalt Blue/Sapphire Black. The standard black is priced at Rs 8.49 lakh, ex-showroom, while the other colours are available at a premium of Rs 15,000. The Trident 660 competes against the Kawasaki Z650RS and Honda CB650R E-Clutch.
