TVS Motor Company showcased the Zeppelin cruiser concept at the Auto Expo 2018 recently. The cruiser gathered a lot of appreciation and it was one of the prime attractions at the TVS booth at the biennial event. Now, a latest report on Motoroids claims that the company is working on two cruiser motorcycles. Out of them, one will be the production-spec Zeppelin while the other will have the styling inspired by the Triumph Bonneville. The new TVS Zeppelin and Bonneville styled cruiser motorcycles will come with the same 220cc, single cylinder engine. The said motor comes coupled to the company’s patented Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) that is linked to an e-Boost option. The latter facilitates the easy starting of the engine, which should prove beneficial in chilly weather conditions.
The two motorcycles will likely come assisted with lightweight wheels coupled to tubeless tyres to offer convenience to the rider. Besides, the motorcycles will come assisted with disc brakes at both ends and a dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) will also be on offer as standard to offer safe and effective braking.

The suspension system of the new upcoming TVS Zeppelin and Bonneville style cruisers will likely comprise of upside down forks at the front while the rear will be assisted with a monoshock. The two bikes are expected to come with a fully digital instrument cluster that will surely step up the desirability. The TVS Zeppelin concept from the Auto Expo 2018 had an HD camera installed on it at the front and the two cruisers might come with such interesting features. Besides, smartphone connectivity is also likely.

The new TVSÂ cruisers are expected to be launched in India sometime in 2019. The two motorcycles will register the company’s entry into the cruiser territory. The two motorcycles are expected to come with competitive price tags and will primarily take on the likes of Bajaj Avenger 220 twins in the Indian two-wheeler market. More details to be revealed in the coming days!
