Ever since its global launch in January 2024, Triumph India has shared a post of the new Daytona 660 on its social media handles. The Daytona nameplate will soon make its comeback in India.
Triumph Daytona 660: What is it?
The new Daytona is powered by the inline 3-cylinder 660cc that produces 94bhp and 69Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Even though it shares the same powertrain with the Trident 660 and Tiger 660, the Daytona has an additional 14bhp and 5Nm.Â
Triumph Daytona 660: Hardware
The Daytona 660 sports a 120/70 ZR 17 front tyre and a 180/55 ZR 17 rear which is complimented by Showa 41mm upside-down front forks with 110mm wheel travel and a rear monoshock with preload adjustment and 130mm wheel travel. For braking purposes, it gets 310mm twin discs and a single 220mm at the rear. The Daytona has a seat height of 810mm and weighs 201 kg.
Triumph Daytona 660: Features
The Daytona 660 comes equipped with ride-by-wire throttle and offers three riding modes — Sport, Road and Rain. Each mode adjusts the throttle response, traction control setting and ABS. The sports tourer gets a digital instrument cluster and the TFT screen has a white-on-black LCD. As an accessory, Triumph is offering a connectivity system to enable mobile phone and music controls and a turn-by-turn navigation system.
