Two-wheeler sales have seen an increase in FY25, with automakers reporting positive sales while some also recording their highest-ever sales in a year. Royal Enfield sold over a million two-wheelers in the financial year, while Suzuki also registered record sales. However, the top guns are holding their positions strongly. Here are the top five best-selling two-wheeler brands in FY25.

Best-selling two-wheeler brands in FY25

Leading the charge is the world’s largest two-wheeler maker, Hero MotoCorp. The maker of the Splendor and XPulse registered total two-wheeler sales of 5,899,187 units, as compared to selling 5,621,455 units in FY24. Hero sold 5,476,495 motorcycles and 422,692 scooters in the last financial year.

Tailing Hero MotoCorp is Honda, registering sales of 58,31,104 units during the FY’25, recording a 19% YoY growth. This includes domestic sales of 53,26,092 units and 5,05,012 unit exports. For Honda, multiple updated products have helped, including the refreshed Activa, which is the brand’s best-seller in India.

Up next, is TVS. The Hosur-based two-wheeler maker registered total two-wheeler sales of 43.30 lakh units, a YoY growth of 12 percent. For TVS, March 2025 sales were also good, with its EV offering seeing a 77 percent growth. Following TVS is Bajaj, having registered 7 percent YoY growth in FY25. Bajaj’s two-wheeler sales accounted for 39,82,309 units as compared to selling 37,27,923 units in FY24.

Taking the fifth spot and out-selling the world’s oldest two-wheeler maker is Suzuki, having sold 12,56,161 units in FY25. For Suzuki, the Access is the best-seller in India and with the soon-to-be-launched electric Access, the company is taking the fight to Honda’s electric Activa.
