2025 seems to be the year of adventure motorcycles and India was treated to several adventure motorcycles from the Bharat Mobility Expo. Here are the top five adventure motorcycles from the auto expo, some of which were launched, some showcased, and one snapped in production-ready form. Here’s what the expo had to offer.
Hero Xpulse 210
The most-anticipated adventure motorcycle from the Bharat Mobility Expo was the new Xpulse 210, which was first showcased at EICMA last year. During the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo, Hero MotoCorp launched the Xpulse 210 in India at Rs 1.76 lakh, which is Rs 24,000 more than the Xpulse 200.
The new Xpulse 210 is available in Base and Top variants, both different in terms of equipment they have to offer. However, both are powered by a 210cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that makes 24.6bhp and 20.7Nm of peak torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox.
BMW F 450 GS
The F 450 GS garnered a lot of interest when it made its EICMA debut, and for the right reason — it’s every bit a GS, just scaled down. The motorcycle is built ground-up with a new chassis and engine. It is designed to be light, flicakable, and go anywhere. While it is still in its concept form, BMW will be putting the bike into production this year and TVS will make it in India!
The motorcycle gets a new 48bhp twin-cylinder powerplant and is suspended by USD forks and a monoshock at the rear, both adjustable. It gets wire-spoke wheels, a TFT instrument console, ride modes, traction control, and more. The BMW F 450 GS is expected to be launched in India later this year.
TVS RTX 300
The RTX 300 is TVS’ first adventure motorcycle and after it was spied testing on several occasions, the motorcycle was snapped in its full glory at the Bharat Mobility Expo. Thanks to our friends from Bikewale, we know more details about the TVS RTX 300. The motorcycle’s styling is just right and so are the equipment it carries.
Built around a trellis frame, the RTX 300 is suspended by USD forks up front, a monoshock at the rear, a 19-17 wheel setup with alloy wheels, a TFT instrument cluster, disc brakes at both ends, and it will feature a host of electronic aids, similar to the RTR 310. Powering the motorcycle is a new 300cc liquid-cooled engine that makes 35bhp.
BMW R 1300 GS Adventure
What’s better than an R 1300 GS? The GSA, of course! After launching the R 1300 GS in India last year, BMW launched the GSA at the Bharat Mobility Expo, at a price of Rs 22.95 lakh onwards. The R 1300 GSA is available in four variants: Basic, Triple Black, GS Trophy, and Option 719 Karakorum.
The motorcycle gets a larger, 30-litre fuel tank compared to the R 1300 GS, while also offering more suspension travel, added electronics and features, and a new AMT gearbox. The engine is the same as the R 1300 GS, a 1300cc boxer-twin that makes 145bhp and 149Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox.
Yamaha Tenere 700
The Tenere 700 was a tease. It was only showcased. The Japanese manufacturer unveiled the latest Tenere 700 which gets design tweaks, making it look more mean. The motorcycle gets a host of other smaller changes as well, tweaked body panels and colour combinations. Yamaha is still gauging the Indian market for the launch of the Tenere 700.
The motorcycle is powered by a 698cc parallel-twin engine and gets USD forks, a monoshock at the rear, a rally-book-style TFT instrument cluster, a flat seat, a USB charging port, and more. If launched in India, the Tenere 700 will compete head-on with the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE.
