Limited edition Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 launched: What’s new?

The limited edition Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 will break cover on 12 February 2025 on the RE App in India and on the Royal Enfield website for other regions.

Royal Enfield, in collaboration with Icon Motosports, has launched a special custom edition of the Shotgun 650. Priced at Rs 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom), only 100 units of this limited edition Shotgun will be produced. Besides India, 25 units each of this special edition model Shotgun 650 have been allocated in foreign markets including APAC, Europe and Americas.

With only 25 units of this model allocated for India, this limited-run Shotgun 650 will break cover at 8:30 pm on 12 February 2025. Renowned for their genre defying motorcycle apparel and protective gear, Icon Motosports is offering a Slabtown Intercept RE jacket which it has designed.

Based out of Portland in Oregon, Icon Motosports is a premier motorcycle brand that also builds custom motorcycles and is known for blending retro aesthetics with cutting-edge technology. The exclusive jacket is constructed of suede and textile, adorned with leather appliques and embroidery, adding to the collector’s appeal.

The ‘Limited Edition Shotgun 650’ takes inspiration from the awe-inspiring custom-build known as ‘Always Something’ by ICON, which was showcased at EICMA 2024 in Milan, Italy and Motoverse 2024 in Goa. The limited edition drop model is a collector’s edition, and will come loaded with a triple-tone colour scheme with race-inspired graphics. It comes fitted with unique special parts to match the custom build, including gold contrast cut rims, blue colour shock springs. 

A red seat with integrated logo and bar-end mirrors further adds to its style quotient. Shotgun 650 is a tribute to the custom-culture that celebrates creativity and acts as a blank canvas for customisation and personalisation for thousands of riders across the world. The limited edition Shotgun 650 will combine Royal Enfield’s signature timeless aesthetics with Icon Motosports’ rebellious spirit, making it a favourite among enthusiasts seeking style, character, and performance.

Limited edition Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: How to get one?

February 6, 2025 onwards, interest buyers in India can register their credentials through RE app only, while customers across Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan and Korea in Asia Pacific region; UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Poland, Greece, Portugal and Czech Republic in Europe & Middle-East; USA, Canada in North America and Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico in Latin America region can register via the company’s official website.

Limited edition Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Specs

Mechanically, this limited edition Shotgun 650 will be identical to its standard counterpart. Powering the Shotgun 650 is a 649cc, air/oil-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a slip and assist clutch. This motor pumps out an identical 47 bhp and 52.3 Nm of peak torque.

The Shotgun 650 chassis sits on 43mm Showa big piston front upside down forks, and twin tube 5-step preload adjust RSU at the rear. It rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch front alloy wheels while braking duties are carried out by 320mm front and 300mm rear disc brakes aided by dual-channel ABS.
