2025 Ducati Multistrada V4: New Features

Ducati has enhanced the Multistrada V4 S’ capability to handle all types of terrain with the new semi-active suspension with the Skyhook DSS EVO control strategy. It comes with a new sensor mounted on the fork that predicts functions like bump detection and adjusts the rear suspension to road conditions in real-time for a smoother ride. It is available in three configurations — rider, rider + passenger and luggage. Regardless of the selected Riding Mode, the rider can now change the suspension response on the move

Along with this, the new Multistrada V4 is equipped with a new rear mono-shock with an  Automatic Lowering Device that lowers the bike’s seat height when the rider comes to a stop, making it easier to manage and control the motorcycle. It lowers the seat by approximately 30 mm and automatically when the speed drops below 10 kmph. This feature ensures that riders can place their feet firmly on the ground during stops or when navigating challenging terrain. Ducati has also given the option to deactivate this function.

The new Multistrada comes with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) that helps maintain a safe following distance behind other vehicles. This system uses radar sensors to detect vehicles ahead and automatically adjusts the motorcycle’s speed to maintain a desired gap. The system calculates the distance between the motorcycle and the vehicle ahead. Based on the distance and the set speed, the ACC system automatically adjusts the motorcycle’s throttle and brakes to maintain the desired following distance. The Multistrada V4 also feature stop-and-go functionality, allowing the ACC system to bring the motorcycle to a complete stop and then resume acceleration when the vehicle ahead starts moving again.

2025 Ducati Multistrada V4: Engine Specs

The Multistrada V4 is powered by the 1158cc V4 Granturismo engine, delivering 167 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 123.8 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. This engine boasts a service interval of 60,000 kilometres—an industry first. According to Ducati,  the V4 engine deactivates the rear cylinders when it is not tackling harsh riding conditions, which reduces fuel consumption by 6 per cent as compared to the previous model. This means that only the front cylinders are active, effectively transforming the engine into a more efficient twin-cylinder configuration.

Ducati has introduced a new Enduro and Wet riding modes along with the previous options like Sport, Touring and Urban. In the Enduro mode, the engine output to 112 bhp.
