The India Bike Week (IBW) is more than just a mere event, it is a festival where all biking enthusiasts across the country gather together to have a fun weekend with a wide range of activities. Around a month back, schedule for the 10th edition of IBW. Let us check out everything we know about the upcoming annual motoring event.
IBW 2023: Schedule, Venue, ticket prices
The 2023 IBW will be held on 8th and 9th December this year in Goa. Purchase window for the tickets opened from October 15 onwards where buyers can avail discounted early bird ticket prices. The limited-time offer is valid till 29 October, includes a 2-day festival pass, a complimentary festival kit, and F&B coupons worth Rs 700 – all for Rs 2999. The festival kit includes a tote bag, T-shirt, water sipper, keychain, decals, and a newspaper.
Additionally, one can also buy a day pass for Rs 1,999 and get F&B coupons worth Rs 250. At Rs 2,599 per person, attendees can access Club Packages, offering numerous benefits for the riders and motorcycling clubs. Prospective buyers can avail early bird tickets and get themselves registered at the official IBW website.
IBW 2023: Buffet of custom builds
One of the key highlights of this edition of IBW is the Bike Build Off competition in association with Harley Davidson India and judged by Harsh Man Rai, Anand Dharamaraj, and Ravi Avalur, Head, Harley Davidson Business Unit, Hero MotoCorp. The competition intends to find new heroes in the custom bike building arena from a nationwide search for the shortlisted candidates by IBW.
Three custom builders have been shortlisted for the final event— Riccardo Bulleteer Customs from Bangalore, Devashish from Pune, and Aditya Raj from Rajkot. Creations from these three builders will be showcased on the Harley Davidson pavilion at IBW. These custom builders will be awarded a stipend for their creation. All the custom mods will be based on the Harley Davidson X440.
The ultimate winner will take home a brand-new X440 and the two runners-up will be awarded a cash prize worth up to three lakhs. IBW will also showcase three builds from India’s custom kings, some of the most established builders in the country – Rajputana Customs, Old Delhi Motorcycles, Bombay Custom Works and TNT Motorcycles.
IBW 2023: Events round the clock
The latest season of IBW will encompass a wide range of events including five different track events such as Flat Track, a challenging and very visual Enduro track, Hill Climb— for those who love tackling gnarly slopes, and the Mud Rush— which is a ‘Loose Sand Race’.
Activities like Ring of Fire, Mod Bike Display, and Custom Arena, will offer engaging diversions. Further, visitors can enjoy live music, shopping with over 100 exhibitors, ride-outs, and curated experiences in and around Goa. The ‘Great Migration’ kick starts the adventure, beginning with a ride to Goa and culminating in two days of motorcycle euphoria.
