Known for its popularity in the segment, the SP 125 now faces off against the sporty TVS Raider 125. The SP 125 continues to feature the 123.94 cc air-oil cooled single-cylinder engine, now upgraded to meet OBD2B compliance and the upcoming emission norms. It delivers 10.7 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 10.9 Nm at 6,000 rpm, paired with a 5-speed transmission.
The TVS Raider 125 is powered by a 124.8 cc single-cylinder powertrain with an output of 11.2 bhp at 7,500 rpm and torque of 11.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The Raider iGO Assist trim, on the other hand, has 11.75 Nm. The TVS 125 cc motorcycle comes with a 5-speed gearbox. The Raider accelerates from 0 – 60 kmph in 5.9 seconds and has start-stop technology from improved mileage.

Honda has spruced up the SP 125 with all LED headlights and tail lamps. The SP 125 gets a tweak in the design department with angular tank extensions to give it an aggressive stance. The Honda motorcycle boasts a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, a USB C-type charging port with turn-by-turn navigation and voice assistance via the Honda RoadSync app. It is equipped with an idling stop system for better fuel efficiency.
The Raider 125 is the first in the segment to offer a 5-inch TFT display with auto brightness and TVS SmartXonnect that has 99 features including voice assist, navigations system, receive calls on the go, message alerts, weather updates and much more. It also has under seat storage, a USB port for charging devices and all LED lights.

The Honda SP 125 is offered in two variants — Drum at Rs 87,468 and Disc at Rs 91,468, ex-showroom Delhi. It comes in five colour options: Imperial Red Metallic, Black, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, and Matte Marvel Blue Metallic.
The TVS Raider 125 is available in six variants — Drum, Single Seat, Split Seat, iGO, SSE, and SX. Prices range from Rs 85,010 to Rs 104,471, ex-showroom Delhi.
