Hero MotoCorp is set to launch a new variant of the Xoom 110cc scooter in India, and ahead of its official launch, the images and brochure of the scooter have surfaced. To be called the Hero Xoom Combat Edition, the scooter gets a new paint finish and decals and is inspired by fighter jets. Here are more details on the latest Hero Xoom Combat Edition.
Hero Xoom Combat Edition — What’s new?
As per leaked details, the Xoom Combat Edition gets a silver and black paint colour scheme, along with fighter jet-inspired decals on the body. The scooter gets projector headlights, a fully digital instrument panel with phone connectivity, cornering lights, and a USB charging port amongst other features, suggesting that it is based on the top-spec ZX variant of the Xoom.

The Hero Xoom Combat Edition gets telescopic front forks, a monoshock at the rear, 12-inch alloy wheels, a disc brake at the front, a drum brake at the rear, and more, exactly what the range-topping ZX version gets. Compared to the standard model, there are no changes or additional features.
Also untouched is the engine, a 110cc, single-cylinder air-cooled unit that makes 8bhp and 8.7Nm of torque with the help of a CVT gearbox. The new Xoom Combat Edition comes with Hero’s i3s technology and competes directly against the Honda Dio. Hero has not revealed the prices yet, however, expect the Xoom Combat Edition to cost slightly more than the standard version.
