Hero MotoCorp unveiled the Xoom 160 adventure scooter at EICMA last week, and now Honda has unveiled its updated ADV 160 scooter, which was already on sale. For 2024, the Honda ADV 160 gets minor cosmetic updates in terms of a new colour option.
For 2024, the Honda ADV 160 will get a new Pearl Bosporus Blue colour option, which is combined with a few black parts on the scooter. With the new colour, the ADV 160 will now be available in a total of four colours: Matt Black, Pearl Smoky Grey, Matte Dahlia Red, and the new Pearl Bosporus Blue.
Apart from the colour update, the scooter looks identical to the 2023 version in terms of design, with a single piece seat, tall windscreen, telescopic forks, dual rear shocks, disc brakes at both ends, and a side-slung exhaust. It gets LED lighting, an LCD dash, 29-litres of storage, and a charging port for the phone, amongst others.
Powering the 2024 Honda ADV 160 is a 154cc single-cylinder engine that makes 16bhp and 15Nm of pek torque, on par with what the Hero Xoom 160, which makes around 14bhp of power. The Honda gets an idle start-stop system, eSP (enhanced smart power) tech, and an ACG starter.
