Hero MotoCorp is stepping up its electric scooter game with the launch of the new Vida V2. The lineup comes in three trims — Lite, Plus, and Pro, with the Lite trim being a new addition to the Vida family. The Vida V2 is available in three battery options — 2.2 kWh, 3.44 kWh and 3.94 kWh. The total capacity mentioned is divided into two batteries as Vida continues to use removable battery technology. According to Hero MotoCorp, all three V2 scooters have an output of 5.2 bhp and 25 Nm of torque. The Lite has an IDC range of 94 km, a top speed of 69 kmph and two ride modes — Eco and Ride. It can be charged from 0 to 80 per cent in 3 hours and 30 minutes. The Plus has an IDC range of 143 km, a top speed of 85 kmph and three ride modes — Eco, Ride and Sport. The top-of-the-line Pro returns an IDC range of 165 km, four ride modes — Eco, Ride, Sport and Custom, top speed of 90 kmph and charges from 0 to 80 per cent in 5 hours and 55 minutes.

The Vida V2 comes standard with a 7-inch TFT rider’s console, turn-by-turn navigation, all LED lights with follow me lights, Bluetooth Connectivity with call receive the option, cruise control and regenerative braking and 26 litres of boot space.
The Rizta offers a 34-litre under-seat boot and a 22-litre frunk. The entry-level variant features a 7-inch display, while the top trim upgrades to a 7-inch TFT screen with connectivity options and Google Maps-based navigation.
