Hero MotoCorp recorded a total sales volume of 468,410 units in February 2024, inclusive of domestic sales and exports. This translates into a robust 19% growth over the corresponding month (February 2023), when it had sold 394,460 units.
In the domestic market, Hero registered a monthly sales of 445,257 units in February this year as opposed to 382,317 which resulted in a YoY growth of 16.46%. Exports grew by over 90% last month. The largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India shipped 23,153 units to overseas markets last month as opposed to 12,143 units exported in February 2023.

Motorcycle sales in February stood at 436,929 units whereas 31,481 units of scooters were sold during the same period by Hero. This resulted in a 17.5% and a 39% YoY growth, respectively.
The volumes in the month of February indicate the continuously improving consumer sentiments and the company expects the positive trend to continue in the coming months, on the back of favourable economic indicators.
Hero MotoCorp recent launches
In line with strategy of growing the core and expanding premium product portfolio, Hero recently launched the Xtreme 125R and the Mavrick 440— its new flagship. Deliveries of Mavrick are slated to begin in April 2024. The company is in the process of scaling up the volumes of Harley-Davidson X440 and Mavrick 440, the first phase of which should be completed by the middle of this year.

Hero MotoCorp has also scaled the expansion of its new Premia outlets and refreshed the existing dealerships to Hero 2.0. The bikemaker claims that more than 370 Hero 2.0 dealerships are operational till date. The company will also take the current number of four Premia outlets to 100 by the end of June 2024.
