The Passion Pro i3S, which has been spotted at some dealerships in the country, has finally been launched ahead of the festive season. The silently launched motorcycle carries a price tag of Rs 51,653, ex-showroom, Thane.
The Passion Pro i3S uses the same start-stop technology, which is also equipped on the Splendor i3S and was introduced on the new i3S technology back in 2014. With the help of the technology, the motorcycle’s engine switches off automatically when idling and when the rider applies the clutch, the engine switches on.
The new Hero Passion Pro i3S looks similar to the standard Passion Pro, but features an i3S moniker, a start-stop button, electric start button in red colour, new exhaust, tail lamp, etc.
The Passion Pro i3S is powered by a 100 cc, TOD (torque-on-demand), air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes around 8.24 hp of power and 8.05 Nm of peak torque and is paired to a 4-speed gearbox. The two-wheeler maker has offered the motorcycle with both kick and electric start variants.
The company is also planning to launch the new Achiever 150 this month along with the new Super Splendor. Both the models are also expected to get the same i3S technology.
