Hero MotoCorp launched the rebranded avatar of Karizma in the form of Karizma XMR. The motorcycle has generally garnered positive reviews from all corners courtesy of a likeable design, good set of features, and strong performance. All this is combined with a competitive introductory price tag of Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hero Karizma XMR price increase
The Indian motorcycle brand has now announced a small increase in the XMR’s prices. The new Karizma XMR will be priced at Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom), which means an increment of Rs 7,000. The revised prices will come into effect from 1 October 2023. The bikemaker will announce dates for a new booking window with the revised price at a later stage.
Commenting on the same, Ranjivjit Singh, Chief Business Officer, Hero MotoCorp said, “The new Karizma XMR has already created a lot of excitement among the customers. The response has been great and this is a true testament to the trust that our customers have placed in this iconic legend.”

Singh further added that production for the new Karizma XMR has already started and Hero will soon commence with the deliveries of the motorcycle. Hero offers the XMR in a single fully-loaded variant with three colour options including Iconic Yellow, Phantom Black, and Matte Red.
Hero Karizma XMR specs, features
Powering Hero Karizma XMR is a 210cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve motor that makes 25.15bhp at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm. This motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a slip-and-assist clutch. As for hardware, Karizma XMR is underpinned by a steel trellis frame that is suspended by telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock.

Braking duties are handled by a single petal-type disc at front and a disc brake at rear, aided by dual-channel ABS. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. Other notable features offered in the equipment include an adjustable windshield, all-LED lighting, a 5-inch fully-digital LCD instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity with call and message alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation.
