Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to launch a heavily updated version of Destini 125. The company has already shared a couple of teasers for the upcoming 125cc scooter ahead of its launch on 7 September 2024. A couple of days ahead of its launch, Hero has once again teased the new Destini 125 on its social media handles.
Hero Destini 125 facelift: What to expect?
On this occasion, we get a partial yet a clearer glimpse of the upcoming scooter. As mentioned previously, the 2024 Destini 125 will get a completely new design featuring a more square-ish LED headlight cluster housing bi-projector lamps and an H-shaped DRL. Further, the front end appears to be completely revamped with redesigned LED position lamps which double up turn indicators and encased with golden-coloured trims.
A similar H-shaped treatment has been carried over to the LED brake lamp setup at the rear. Hero has used plenty of anodised gold treatment on the scooter including the bezels around the position lamp on the front apron, the Hero logo, rearview mirrors, and even the Hero Destini 125 branding on the fenders. Previous images have suggested dual-tone colour schemes will be offered with the new Destini.
Other changes expected in the new Hero Destini 125 are new alloy wheels, all-black front forks, a redesigned exhaust cover plate, a pillion backrest, and a reprofiled seat. When it comes to features, the new Destini will be much better equipped than its predecessor thanks to the inclusion of the Xtec trim.

Hence, expect the new Destini Xtec to offer conveniences such as a fully-digital coloured LCD instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity for text and call alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, a USB charging port, and a boot light. Hero will continue to offer the i3S start/stop system with the new Destini.
Mechanically, we don’t expect Hero to make any significant changes in the new Destini. It will be powered by the same 124.6 cc engine which pushes out 9 bhp and 10.4 Nm of torque. The suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and a monoshock. Hero might upgrade to a disc brake setup at both front and rear with the new Destini 125.
