Ducati has unveiled its latest limited edition motorcycle, the Panigale V4 Tricolore, for the global market. The new Panigale V4 Tricolore will be limited to just 1000 units globally, making it an exclusive motorcycle to own. The motorcycle is a tribute to the company’s seven generations of Panigale motorcycles.
New Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore — What’s special?
As with most limited edition models, the Panigale V4 Tricolore gets a special colour scheme — the Italian flag colours run the length of the motorcycle while there is a chequered flag finish at the bottom of the fairing to showcase its racing heritage of the Panigale brand. The motorcycle also gets the serial number on the triple clamp along with a certificate of authenticity.
Apart from the paint scheme, the motorcycle also gets a few mechanical goodies — it gets carbon fibre wheels, a dry clutch, billet aluminium pegs, and more carbon fibre bits around the motorcycle. However, the most crucial extra are the Brembo 338.5mm T-drive disc brakes at the front from the WSBK motorcycle, making the Panigale V4 Tricolore the first road-legal bike to feature them.
Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore engine specifications
On the engine front, there are no changes and the motorcycle carries forward the same 1013cc, liquid-cooled V4 engine that makes 214bhp and 121Nm of torque — plenty of power for a road bike! The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a standard quick shifter.
Now answering the bigger question— will it make it to India? While there is no official word from Ducati, expect at least one to make it to our shores given the passionate bikers India has.
