The inaugural edition of Bharat Mobility Expo, held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, has been a grand success with all major and small players from the Indian automotive industry taking part in the event. One of the many OEMs participating at this exhibition, Bajaj has unveiled some interesting prototypes.
Bajaj flex-fuel Pulsar, Dominar
A major OEM in the Indian two-wheeler segment, Bajaj has showcased new variants of Pulsar and Dominar with flex-fuel technology. The former is the Pulsar NS160 which can run on both ethanol and petrol. Bajaj claims the bike is ready to support the initiatives of the Government of India on ethanol-blended and ethanol fuels.
On the other hand, Dominar E27.5 is a partial flex-fuel Dominar 440 which can run on 27.5% ethanol-gasoline blend. Flex-Fuel is the intelligent capability of the engine to run on a combination of ethanol and gasoline mix which can be varied at the behest of the customer. Besides the flex-fuel products, Bajaj also showcased other alternative fuel solutions like the fully-electric Chetak Premium and the Qute CNG.
