Bajaj Auto will finally open the lid to the all-new 400cc Pulsar today. The upcoming naked streetfighter will sit on top of the Pulsar range. Since the last few months, the Chakan-based manufacturer has been on a spree to update the entire Pulsar lineup. The most recent was the current flagship was the Pulsar N250 which received some crucial updates.

Bajaj has broadly categorised the Pulsar lineup into three: the old classic range comprising Pulsar 150, Pulsar 125, Pulsar 220F etc., the new N range featuring Pulsar N160, N150, and N250; and the sportiest range of Pulsars which include Pulsar NS125, NS160, and NS200. The upcoming 400cc Pulsar is expected to be classified as an NS.

Bajaj has finally launched the all-new 400cc Pulsar which has been officially named Pulsar NS400Z. The naked streetfighter will sit on top of the Pulsar lineup. Priced at an introductory Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Pulsar NS400Z is available in a single fully-loaded variant.

The NS400 is the most feature-packed Pulsar till date. It packs a more advanced coloured fully-digital intrument panel with dot matrix display. Other features include Bluetooth connectivity via Bajaj Ride Connect app, turn-by-turn navigation, call and text alerts, music control, lap timer, and a USB charging port.

Bajaj has officially named “Pulsar NS400 Z”, hinting at more new variants of the Pulsar NS400 to come out soon.

Bajaj is offering 4 ride modes: Rain, Road, Off-road, and Sport. All gets ride by wire electronic throttle.
Bajaj Pulsar NS400 prices announced. It is priced at an introductory Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings are now open for Rs 5000.

Bajaj claims a top speed of 154 kmph for the Pulsar NS400.
Powered by 373cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 40 PS at 8800rpm and a peak torque of 35 Nm at 6500rpm. Paired with six-speed gearbox.
The new Pulsar NS400 comes with 43mm upside down front forks with champage gold finish and a rear mono-shock.
The new Bajaj Pulsar gets LED headlights, LED taillights, LED blinkers and hazard lights.

The design of the new Pulsar NS400 will be its biggest talking point. As seen in the latest teasers and spy images, it will flaunt a very radical design, especially its front fascia.
The new flagship Pulsar is expected to be feature packed. It will receive a a fully-digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity via Bajaj Ride Connect app, turn-by-turn navigation, call and text alerts, and a USB charging port.
The new Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will be based on the same perimeter frame suspended as Pulsar NS200 which sits on upside down front forks and a rear mono-shock. Braking duties will be carried out by disc brakes at both ends aided by dual-channel ABS.
While there is ambiguity regarding its powertrain, Bajaj is expected to employ the 373cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine from Dominar 400 and older-gen KTM 390 range. This motor spills out 40 bhp and 35 Nm of peak torque. It will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.
