Hero Splendor is the highest-selling two-wheeler not just in India but in the entire world. Over 4 crore units of Splendor have been sold till date ever since it was first launched in the early 1990s. Over the course of more than three decades, Splendor has remained largely the same with only minor updates to keep it relevant.
Hero MotoCorp has launched yet another updated iteration of the Splendor which gets a set of crucial updates. The latest iteration of Spendor+ gets fresh body graphics to give it a different appeal, although the bike’s design remains unchanged. Hero has also launched a celebratory 01 Edition of Splendor+ which signifies its position of world’ best-selling two-wheeler.

Besides the new body graphics, the Splendor+ now gets an updated OBD2B compliant engine as per new BS6 phase 2 emission standards which came into effect from 1 April 2025. Splendor continues to be powered by the same 97.2cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor paired with a 4-speed gearbox. Output figures remain unchanged, producing 7.91 bhp and 8.05 Nm of peak power.
In terms of features, the Splendor+ comes equipped with LED headlights and LED DRL,a fully digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps and LED DRL, a front disc brake, etc. The instrument console supports Bluetooth connectivity and smartphones. However, all these premium features are limited to the top-spec Xtec trim.
