HeroMotoCorp has updated the Xtreme 160R 4V for 2024, by giving it some cosmetic changes and feature updates. The 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is priced at Rs 1.38 lakh, ex-showroom, and is available in three colours, including the new Kevlar Brown option. Here is a detailed look at the new Xtreme 160R 4V.
2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V — What’s new?
The 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V gets a new Kevlar Brown colour option, while its graphics on the body have seen an update, giving the motorcycle a sportier look. That said, it retains most of its hardware, such as the USD forks, disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS (a first in the segment), LED lighting, and other components.
The sporty 160cc motorcycle retains its overall design but gets a single-piece seat this time instead of the split seat design from the older model to enhance pillion comfort. Other components like the 17-inch wheels also stay, along with the reverse LCD dash, which gets an added feature in the form of a drag race timer, allowing riders to record their acceleration. Another added feature is an emergency brake feature, which flashes the indicators under rapid deceleration.
That said, the 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V continues to be powered by the same engine, a 163.2cc, single-cylinder air-cooled unit that makes 16.6bhp and 14.6Nm of torque with the help of a 5-speed gearbox.
