Air India deploys Boeing 787-9 on Delhi-Toronto route, drops Vienna fuel stop
Air India will use their new Boeing 787-9 on the Delhi-Toronto route starting August 1, replacing the old Boeing 777-300ER and eliminating the need for a fuel stop at Vienna. The flight will now take 17 hours, reducing the journey time by 3 hours. The return flight will also be non-stop, taking 16 hours. The aircraft has a three-class configuration and a new Premium Economy cabin.
