In 2023, the Class 10 overall pass rate reached 89.78 percent, while for Class 12 students, it stood at 75.52 percent. Moreover, the total number of candidates appearing for the matric exams last year was 31,16,487, and for the Class 12 exams, it was 27,69,258 students.

The UP Board Class 12th Exam 2024 took place from February 22 to March 9, 2024. One was conducted from 8 am to 11:15 am, and the other from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.

Last year, Shubh Gupta secured the top position overall in Class 12, achieving 97.80 percent marks. Saurabh Gangwar and Anamika shared the second position with 97.20 percent, while Priyanshu Upadhyay, Khushi, and Supriya jointly held the third position with 97 percent each. In Class 10, Priyanshi Soni claimed the first position with 98.33 percent marks, followed by Kushagra Pandey and Mishkat Noor in second place, both scoring 97.83 percent.
