With three more days to go for the final phase of polling in Odisha on June 1, the Election Commission of India (ECI) suspended senior IPS officer D S Kutey, who was serving as special secretary in the Odisha Chief Minister’s Office, for “unduly interfering in the conduct of elections”.
According to a news report by ANI, Madhya Pradesh Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Vishwas Sarang launched a scathing attack on Odisha‘s Chief Minister and BJD leader Naveen Patnaik. Sarang referred to Patnaik as the “shadow” Chief Minister, while describing VK Pandian as the “real” Chief Minister of the state.
