In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Sada Sarvankar of Shiv Sena (SS) won the seat, defeating Sandeep Sudhakar Deshpande of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) by a margin of 18,614 votes, which accounted for 15.01% of the total votes cast. Shiv Sena secured a vote share of 49.45% in the seat.

In the 2014 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Sada Sarvankar of Shiv Sena again emerged victorious, defeating Nitin Sardesai of MNS by a margin of 5,941 votes, or 4.36% of the total votes cast. Shiv Sena’s vote share in 2014 was 33.97%.

In the 2009 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Nitin Vijaykumar Sardesai of MNS won the seat, defeating Sadananad Shankar Sarvankar of the Indian National Congress (INC) by a margin of 8,926 votes, which was 6.93% of the total votes cast. MNS had a vote share of 37.82% in that election.
