The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged dominant in the Haryana local body elections, clinching victories in nine out of ten municipal corporations in the mayoral polls. The party showcased a strong performance across the state, reinforcing its political influence at the local level.

However, the BJP faced a setback in Manesar, where independent candidate Dr. Inderjit Yadav secured a win, breaking the party’s winning streak. Despite this lone loss, the overall outcome reflects BJP’s continued stronghold in Haryana’s urban political landscape.

In the ongoing Yamunanagar mayoral election, BJP’s Suman Bahmani continues to dominate with 1,03,257 votes after 17 rounds of counting. Congress candidate Kirana Devi trails behind with 40,873 votes, marking a significant margin of 62,384 votes. Independent candidates Madhu and Suman Lata have secured 4,650 and 1,456 votes, respectively, while NOTA has received 1,923 votes. With five more rounds to go, BJP appears poised for a comfortable victory in Yamunanagar.

The Haryana Municipal Elections 2025 vote counting is ongoing, with BJP maintaining a strong lead in Yamunanagar. BJP’s Suman Bahmani is currently leading with 96,599 votes, while Congress candidate Kirana Devi is trailing behind with 39,249 votes, marking a margin of 57,350 votes. Independent candidates Madhu and Suman Lata have secured 4,333 and 1,375 votes, respectively. Meanwhile, 1,793 voters opted for NOTA. With 16 out of 22 rounds completed, BJP appears poised for another victory in the state.

BJP‘s Komal Saini has emerged victorious in the Panipat mayoral elections, securing a dominant 162,075 votes. She defeated Congress‘s Savita Sanjay Garg, who received 38,905 votes, with a massive margin of 123,170 votes.

Among other contenders, Independent candidate Keval Singh secured 7,295 votes, while AAP’s Preetpal Singh Khera got 4,864 votes. NOTA received 3,071 votes.

With this win, BJP continues its strong performance in the Haryana municipal elections.

BJP candidate Ram Avtar has won the Rohtak mayoral election, securing 1,02,269 votes. He defeated Congress‘ Surajmal Kiloi, who garnered 57,071 votes, with a margin of 45,198 votes. INLD’s Suraj (3,458 votes), AAP’s Amit Khatak (3,175 votes), and independent candidate Deepak Singh (2,055 votes) trailed behind. NOTA received 1,956 votes.

BJP candidate Raj Rani emerged victorious in the Gurugram mayoral election, securing a massive 2,70,781 votes. She defeated Congress‘ Seema Pahuja, who received 91,296 votes, with a commanding margin of 1,79,485 votes. NOTA votes stood at 15,911. With this landslide victory, the BJP continues its dominance in Haryana’s municipal elections.

BJP‘s Komal Saini is leading in the Panipat mayoral election with 1,62,075 votes, holding a massive margin of 1,23,170 votes over Congress candidate Savita Sanjay Garg, who has 38,905 votes. After 19 rounds of counting, Independent candidate Keval Singh has 7,295 votes, while AAP’s Preetpal Singh Khera has 4,864 votes. NOTA votes stand at 3,071. With counting nearing completion, Saini appears poised for a decisive victory, strengthening BJP’s hold in Haryana’s municipal elections.

In the Karnal mayoral election, BJP’s Renu Bala Gupta emerged victorious with 83,630 votes, defeating Congress‘ Manoj Wadhwa, who secured 58,271 votes. She won by a margin of 25,359 votes after all 18 rounds of counting were completed.

In the Ambala mayoral election, BJP’s Shailja Sachdeva has secured victory with 40,620 votes, defeating Congress‘ Amisha Chawla, who received 20,133 votes. Sachdeva won by a margin of 20,487 votes after all 14 rounds of counting were completed.

In the Panipat mayoral election, BJP’s Komal Saini is leading with 1,60,091 votes, while Congress‘ Savita Sanjay Garg trails behind with 38,136 votes, creating a huge margin of 1,21,955 votes. With 18 out of 19 rounds completed, Saini is on the verge of securing victory.

Dr. Inderjeet Yadav, contesting as an Independent, has won the Manesar mayoral election, securing 26,393 votes. He defeated BJP’s Sunder Lal Sarpanch, who received 24,100 votes, with a margin of 2,293 votes. Vijay Singh (Independent) secured 9,163 votes, while INC’s Neeraj Yadav managed 5,143 votes. NOTA received 484 votes. This victory highlights a strong independent presence in the region’s politics.

Parveen Joshi of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won the Faridabad mayoral election, securing 4,16,927 votes. He defeated Lata Rani of the Indian National Congress (INC), who garnered 1,00,075 votes, with a massive margin of 3,16,852 votes. Other contenders included Nisha Dalal Faujdar (AAP) with 29,977 votes, Mansa Paswan (BSP) with 23,973 votes, and Sangeeta Yadav (Independent) with 11,335 votes. NOTA received 10,223 votes. Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Parveen Joshi is leading in the Faridabad mayoral election with 413,036 votes, maintaining a significant margin of 313,632 votes over Indian National Congress’ (INC) Lata Rani, who has secured 99,404 votes. Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Nisha Dalal Faujdar is in third place with 29,803 votes. Counting is in its final rounds.

Counting for the Sonipat mayoral election has concluded, with BJP candidate Rajiv Jain securing victory with 57,858 votes. Congress candidate Kamal Diwan finished second with 23,109 votes, while BSP’s Dharmveer managed 1,424 votes. AAP’s Dr. Kamlesh Kumar Saini received 366 votes, and Independent candidate Ramesh Khatri Lambaradar got 342 votes. NOTA accounted for 662 votes.

In the Hisar mayoral elections, BJP candidate Praveen Popli is leading with 76,256 votes after 11 rounds of counting. Congress candidate Krishna Titu Singla trails with 22,556 votes. Independent candidates Surendra Kumar (2,069 votes), Gurpreet Singh (1,371 votes), Meera Lot (1,362 votes), Surendra Bhoria (1,235 votes), and Hoshiar Singh (1,060 votes) are also in the fray. NOTA has received 1,579 votes.

The Bharatiya Janata Party, which initially led in nine seats, is now ahead in all 10 mayoral races across Haryana. BJP is set for a clean sweep in Hisar, Gurugram, Karnal, Rohtak, Faridabad, Manesar, Yamunanagar, Panipat, Ambala, and Sonipat.
