LJP’s Chirag Paswan won from Hajipur, Bihar with over 6.1 lakh votes defeating RJD’s Shiv Chandra Ram who garnered over 4.4 lakh votes
In the 2014 General Elections, the Hajipur constituency was won by LJP candidate Ram Vilas Paswan, with Congress candidate Sanjeev Prasad Toni as the runner-up.
Chirag Paswan, aged 41, made his electoral debut in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls and won from the Jamui constituency. He retained his seat in the 2019 elections, defeating his nearest rival Bhudeo Choudhary of the RJD.
Chirag Paswan, leader of Lok Janshakti Ram Vilas and son of former Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, is leading against RJD’s Shiv Chandra Ram in Bihar‘s Hajipur.
