Lok Sabha Election 2024, Gujarat Result 2024 Highlights: The counting of votes has concluded in Gujarat with the BJP winning 25 seats of the 26, and the INC bagging one. The electoral outcome in the state is seen as a matter of prestige for the Bharatiya Janata Party which had won all 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat in the 2014 and 2019 general elections. The state is also home to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, the two most influential leaders of the saffron party. Of the 26 Lok Sabha seats in the state, the BJP had bagged Surat uncontested.
Home Minister Amit Shah won in Gandhinagar by a margin of 744716 votes. He garnered a total of 1010972 votes. Meanwhile, the Congress opened its account in the state after a decade with Geniben Nagaji Thakor winning from Banaskantha by a margin of 30406 votes.

Poonamben Hematbhai Maadam is the BJP candidate from Jamnagar. She is battling against J.P. Maraviya from Congress and Jaysukh Nathubhai Pingalsur of BSP. Poonamben Hematbhai Maadam won in 2019 with 591,588 votes, at 58.52%.
Home Minister Amit Shah is the BJP candidate from Gandhinagar. Shah won the 2019 elections with
894,624 votes at 69.67%. Dr. C. J. Chavda was the first runner-up, with 337,610 votes and 26.29%. This year. This year he is pitted against Mohammedanish Desai from the BSP and Sonal Ramanbhai Patel from Congress.
Jaswantsinh Sumanbhai Bhabhor is the BJP candidate from Dahod. Jashvantsinh Sumanbhai Bhabhor won in 2019, with 561,760 votes at 52.84%. The first runner-up in the constituency was Katara Babubhai Khimabhai from INC with 434,164 votes at 40.84%.
Jashubhai Bhilubhai Rathva is the BJP candidate from Chhota Udaipur. Rathva Gitaben Vajesingbhai of BJP won the 2019 Lok Sabha Election with 764,445 votes at 62.03%
Nimuben Bambhania is the BJP candidate from Bhavnagar constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP candidate Dr.Bharatiben Dhirubhai Shiyal won from Bhavnagar garnering 661273 votes. BJP defeated INC Patel Manharbhai Nagjibhai (Vasani) who got 331754 votes. The BJP secured 63%.
Rekhaben Hiteshbhai Chaudhary is the BJP candidate from the Banaskantha constituency. BJP candidatesHarithbhai Parthibhai Chaudhary and Parbatbhai Patel won the Lok Sabha elections from the constituency in 2014 and 2019.
Mitesh Rameshbhai Patel is the BJP candidate from the Anand constituency. He defeated Bharatsinh Madhavsinh Solanki of INC by 197,718 votes in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.
Bharat Manubhai Sutariya is the BJP candidate contesting polls from the Amreli constituency. Naranbhai Kacchadia contested from the constituency winning the elections three terms in a row in 2009, 2014 and 2019.
Dineshbhai Kodarbhai Makwana is the BJP candidate from Ahmedabad West constituency. In 2019, Dr Kirit P. Solanki defeated Raju Parmar of INC with a difference of 3,21,546 votes.
Hasmukhbhai Somabhai Patel is the BJP candidate contesting the Ahmedabad East constituency. Ahmedabad East constituency consists of Dahegam, Gandhinagar Dakshin, Vatva, Nikol, Naroda, Thakkarbapa Nagar and Bapunagar Vidhansabha constituencies. In 2019, he won the Ahmedabad East constituency of the Indian National Congress’ Gitaben Patel by 4,34,330 votes.
In the 25 parliamentary constituencies of Gujarat where polling was held in the third phase of the Lok Sabha election on May 7, over 55% voting turnout was registered, as per EC. There are 265 candidates in the fray, including three Cabinet Ministers Amit Shah, Mansukh Mandaviya and Parshottam Rupala and a Minister of State Devusinh Chauhan.

Ahmedabad East, Ahmedabad West, Amreli, Anand, Banaskantha, Bardoli, Bharuch, Bhavnagar, Chhota Udaipur, Dahod, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Kachchh, Kheda, Mahesana, Navsari, Panchmahal, Patan, Porbandar, Rajkot, Sabarkantha, Surat, Surendranagar, Vadodara, and Valsad. Incumbent Prime Minister Narendra Modi contested from the Vadodara constituency in 2014 which he won, resulting in his first tenure as the Prime Minister. Modi is currently contesting from Varanasi.
