Lok Sabha Election 2024, Gujarat Result 2024 Highlights: The counting of votes has concluded in Gujarat with the BJP winning 25 seats of the 26, and the INC bagging one. The electoral outcome in the state is seen as a matter of prestige for the Bharatiya Janata Party which had won all 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat in the 2014 and 2019 general elections. The state is also home to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, the two most influential leaders of the saffron party. Of the 26 Lok Sabha seats in the state, the BJP had bagged Surat uncontested.
Home Minister Amit Shah won in Gandhinagar by a margin of 744716 votes. He garnered a total of 1010972 votes. Meanwhile, the Congress opened its account in the state after a decade with Geniben Nagaji Thakor winning from Banaskantha by a margin of 30406 votes.

Parshottam Rupala of the BJP is leading in Rajkot with 1,61,923 votes at 68.5%. Following behind with a substantial gap is Paresh Dhanani of the INC with 66,472 votes at 28.1%, as per polling trends revealed by the ECI.

BJP‘s Hasmukh Patel leads the race in Ahmedabad East with 68,458 votes at 68.4% followed by Himmatsinh Patel of INC with 26,794 votes at 26.8%.
