The party is also leading in one additional seat. In contrast, the ECI data revealed that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), led by Arvind Kejriwal, has won 22 seats. Top AAP leaders, including national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Saurabh Bharadwaj, and Satyendar Jain, have all lost from their respective constituencies. Kejriwal, in particular, lost the high-profile New Delhi seat to BJP’s Parvesh Verma by a margin of 4,089 votes.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after BJP’s stupendous performance in the Delhi Assembly Elections, thanked the people of the National capital for giving BJP a clear cut victory.
