Assembly Election Results 2024 Highlights: NC-Congress wins J&K for first time in a decade! BJP scores historic hattrick in Haryana

According to ECI, Baramulla shows NC’s Javid Hassan Baig in the lead with 7079 votes and JKAP’s Shabir Ahmad Lone on the second spot with 2632 votes. Independent candidate Touseef Mehraj Raina is trailing from Barmulla with 2569 votes.

JJP leader Dushyant Chautala is currently behind in the Uchana Kalan assembly seat in Haryana, based on trends from the Election Commission of India.

Speaking on the Haryana Assembly election result trends, BJP leader Anil Vija said that the people of the state can be seen teaching Congress a lesson. He said that there are people within Congress who want to see Hooda lose and were also seen bursting crackers.

Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda maintains his lead over BJP‘s Manju, with a margin of 22,182 votes after 4 out of 17 rounds of counting, according to the latest data from the Election Commission.

BJP has crossed halfway mark in Haryana, as per latest ECI trends. Currently the BJP is leading in 47 seats, Congress in 35, INLD and BSP in 1 each and IND in 5 seats.

According to current ECI Trends at 10:22 am, Haryana shows BJO close to crossing halfway mark with 48 seats while INC is close behind with 34 seats . Jammu and Kashmir, on the other hand, shows JKN leading with 39 seats while being in a tight race with BJP leading in 28 seats.

Raman Bhalla, the Congress candidate from Jammu South, stated that he is confident that the alliance will form the government in J&K. He said the he sensed of this possibility, especially by observing large crowds at public rallies.

Arjun Singh Chautala, the INLD candidate from Rania, said that they have consistently put in hard work and connected with the community. When questioned about potential alliances, he emphasized that they do not require support from any other party.

According to current trends of India Today, BJP is seen leading in Haryana with 44 seats with a tight contest from Congress with 38 seats. Jammu and Kashmir on the other hand is currently being dominated by the alliance of NC and Congress with 50 seats. PDP’s Iltija Mufti has also seen no luck and is still trailing. PDP is currently shown to be ahead in 3 seats and others with 14 seats.

Haryana has seen a dramatic flip as the BJP has narrowly moved ahead of Congress. This can be seen as a setback for the Congress as the state was considered to be a stronghold for them. IN J&K however, the National Conference-Congress alliance is reigning supreme and leading in the Union territory as per current trends.

In some good news for Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party, Mehboob Beg is leading from Anantnag. The constituency went to polls in the first phase of J&K elections on September 18.

Former CM and Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda is confident that the party will form government in Haryana. As per current News 18 trends, BJP is leading in Haryana.

As per News 18 current trends, BJP is leading in Haryana with 45 seats following a close contest with BJP at 38 seats. INLD is shown to have 2 sears and Others are at 5. In J&K, NC-Congress is shown to be ahead in 50 seats and BJP is leading with 24 seats, others with 12 and PDP with 4.

In what appears to be a significant upset in Jammu and Kashmir, Iltija Mufti, the daughter of former Chief Minister and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti, is currently trailing in the Srigufwara-Bijbehara seat. Bashir Ahmad Shah Veeri from the National Conference is in the lead in that constituency.

Congress leader and candidate from the Dooru constituency, Ghulam Ahmad Mir told ANI that he anticipated a landslide victory for the party in Haryana, and that they see a similar trend in J&K. He said that there is a “strong anti-incumbency sentiment” against the BJP, which is why they formed a strategic alliance. He is sure that this alliance will secure more than 50 seats.

According to current ECI trends, Haryana shows INC in the lead with 6 seats, BJP following with 4 seats.

The CVoter exit poll suggests that the Congress and its allies are poised for a robust performance in the upcoming elections. The Congress is projected to achieve a full majority, with an expected 50 to 58 seats in the 90-member Assembly, marking a significant improvement from the 31 seats it won in 2019. Meanwhile, the ruling BJP, aiming for a third consecutive term, is anticipated to see a decline, potentially securing only 20 to 28 seats, down from its previous total of 40. The Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), which captured 10 seats in the last elections, is now expected to win between 0 and 2 seats.

According to ECI, INC and BJP are tied with 1 seat each in Haryana. While in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP is ahead with 10 seats, JKN with 5 seats, INC and IND with 1 each.

According to the Election Commission of India, BJP is ahead with 3 seats and JKN and IND are behind with 1 seat each.

As per current trends shown by India Today, National Conference is ahead in J&K with 38 seats while BJP is seen ahead in 19 seats. PDP is currently only at 3 seats. IN Haryana, Congress is shown to have a massive lead with 53 seats and BJP is following behind with 15 seats.
