The second cluster of the cohort-based placements at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) attracted some of the regulars including Deloitte, TAS and Feedback Ventures offering consulting and general management roles to the students of the post-graduate programme (PGP) at the institute.

Deloitte made 10 offers for consulting roles that included lateral offers as well, while TAS and Feedback Ventures made six offers each and all of them were accepted by the students.

Sources at the IIM-A mentioned that the placements process continued till Sunday as per the schedule. Some of the firms that remained present on the second day included FMCG majors as well as investment banks. After the finance sector dominating the first cluster, the second cluster saw more firms offering general management roles from marketing side. Some of the key recruiters for the second cluster included Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Procter & Gamble, American Express, Standard Chartered and Nestle.

Nestle made history during by making offer for its international management & sales training programme for the first time to any Indian institute. However, the institute did not share any further details about the offers made by the companies or about the companies visiting for the second day.
