India’s SBI Card ties up with Reliance’s retail arm for credit card

SBI Cards and Payment Services and the retail unit of billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance are set to launch a co-branded credit card on India’s homegrown RuPay payment network, the companies said on Tuesday. The partnership marks Reliance’s foray into the credit card space and comes months after Ambani separately listed its financial services business as it seeks to diversify its already sprawling oil-to-retail business. Israel intercepts ‘aerial target’ near Red Sea city of Eilat

Air raid sirens went off in the area of the Red Sea city of Eilat on Tuesday and Israel’s military said it downed an approaching “aerial target”. After an initial warning of a possible “hostile aircraft intrusion”, which sent residents of the popular tourist resort running for shelter, the military said its “systems identified an aerial target approaching Israeli territory”. There are apprehensions that Kejriwal will be arrested by ED on Nov 2: Atishi

The Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday claimed there are apprehensions that the Enforcement Directorate will arrest Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on November 2 after questioning him in a money laundering case linked to the alleged excise policy scam. Air emergency in North India

The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan governments to file affidavits stating steps taken by them to control air pollution. A three-judge bench headed by Justice SK Kaul directed them to file an affidavit within a week. The bench also comprising Justices Sudhanshu Dhulia and P K Mishra said crop burning is one of the main reasons for air pollution in Delhi. (Read More)
