Reliance Power on Tuesday announced that its 100 MW concentrated solar power (CSP) project at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, has been successfully synchronised with the grid and power generation has commenced.

The 100 MW plant has been built at a cost of R2,100 crore and the project has a power purchase agreement with NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam for 25 years. With this project, Reliance Power’s solar generation capacity has increased to to 185 MW.
