Mahindra has launched its Charge_IN ultra-fast EV charging network and committed to installing over 1,000 charging points by end-2027, each powered by 180 kW chargers.
Which stations are operational?
The first two stations are now operational in Hoskote on NH-75 (Bengaluru-Chennai corridor) and Murthal on NH-44 near Delhi, with both locations equipped with two 180 kW dual-gun units capable of charging four EVs simultaneously.
What did Mahindra say?
Mahindra says, this network will expand along major highway corridors and be co-located with wayside amenities to make long-distance EV travel practical and stress-free.
Mahindra Charge_IN stations will be open to EVs of all brands through the Charge_IN by Mahindra app and other aggregator platforms, while Mahindra customers can also use the Me4U app, which already provides access to around 34,000 public charging points nationwide.
