Infosys Q1 Results LIVE Updates: Infosys is set to announce its Q1FY27 results today. The analyst expects Infosys’ margins to be stable and trim its revenue guidance for FY27. The question remains the same, will the tech major be able to beat estimates?
Here are 5 key factors to watch out for
1. Infosys’ FY27 revenue growth guidance in focus
Infosys is expected to lower the upper end of FY27 revenue growth guidance by 50 basis points (bps) to 1.5–3.0% year-on-year in constant currency (CC).
2. Infosys Q1FY27 preview: Steady revenue expected
Infosys is expected to report around 2% sequential revenue growth in constant currency (CC) in Q1FY27.
3. Infosys Q1FY27 preview: AI and Middle East impact in focus
Infosys’ growth is likely to remain below historical averages due to macroeconomic uncertainty and pricing pressure from artificial intelligence (AI).
4. Infosys Q1FY27 preview: Margins expected to decline
EBIT margins are likely to improve by 27 basis points(bps) quarter-on-quarter (QoQ). This is because Infosys deferred wage hikes unlike other IT companies and it is also expected to benefit from the Project Maximus cost optimisation program
5. Infosys Q1FY27 deal TCV expected to be unchanged
Infosys is expected to report large deal wins worth $2.5-2.75 billion in Q1FY27.
Infosys’ net profit is expected to rise 13.2% year-on-year, although it may decline 7.8% quarter-on-quarter. Deven Choksey said the company is expected to pay a higher tax rate after benefiting from one-time tax gains in the previous quarter. “The tax rate is expected to normalise to 29%, compared with Q4FY26’s lower effective tax rate (ETR) of 21.2%, which included one-off tax benefits,” Deven Choksey said.
