ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEE) has earned an ESG score of 44 in the latest S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). From what is understood, this score places the company significantly ahead of the industry average of 20 and within the top 10% of global media and entertainment firms. ZEE also recorded a 16-point increase from the previous year, ranking in the 93rd percentile in the Media, Movies and Entertainment category.

The company’s performance reflects its engagement in key ESG areas, including Transparency & Reporting, where it ranked in the 100th percentile. ZEE also scored above the 90th percentile in Business Ethics, Cybersecurity, System Availability, Water Management, Labor Practices, Human Rights, and Customer Relations. According to the company, ZEE’s ESG evaluation was conducted through an analysis of corporate disclosures, stakeholder engagement, media coverage, and data modelling. The assessment highlights the company’s approach to addressing ESG risks and opportunities.
