Paytm organised a campaign utilising Augmented Reality (AR) technology to mark Christmas celebrations. From what is understood, the initiative was held in Delhi and Bengaluru, incorporating AR to enhance the shopping experience. Reportedly, participants received stockings containing a Paytm QR code. By scanning the code, they accessed an AR experience that revealed cashback points and deals on the Paytm app.
“This Christmas, we are delighted to bring innovation and joy to our users with an interactive AR campaign featuring Santa Claus. It’s a magical way to celebrate the festive season, offering an engaging experience alongside attractive cashback points and rewards. We’re excited to spread holiday cheer and make this season even more rewarding for our Paytm family,” Paytm spokesperson said.
The campaign aimed to integrate AR technology with digital payments, offering an interactive experience for users during the holiday season, the company added.
