IPG Mediabrands has appointed James Hawkins as its new Chief Client Officer, a role aimed at strengthening client relationships and driving growth. With over 20 years of experience in media and creative agencies, Hawkins previously served as CEO of PHD Asia Pacific, where he led the agency’s expansion in the region.

It is understood that Hawkins has also held senior positions at dentsu, including managing director of Asia Pacific at dentsu X and chief digital officer at Dentsu Media. His extensive career spans leadership roles at DM2 as well, positioning him to contribute significantly to IPG Mediabrands’ growth strategy.
