Digital trading platform Funded Friday is broadening its scope to include retail traders globally. After operating for over a decade with high-net-worth individuals and institutional traders, the company is now rolling out funding programs tailored for independent traders.
As per the company, these programs aim to connect retail trading talent with access to institutional-style capital. The platform states that it offers funding opportunities up to $200,000, with performance-based account scaling and profit-sharing models of up to 90%.
Funded Friday has introduced two core evaluation models — the Learner Challenge and the Risk Warrior Challenge — designed for different trading approaches and risk profiles. The company says both models feature defined performance criteria and a rule-based structure, without hidden conditions.
To address common concerns in prop trading, Funded Friday says it offers access to MetaTrader 5 with up to 1:100 leverage, transparent fee structures, and what it describes as “faster” or “prompt” payout mechanisms.
The firm is also focusing on direct engagement through social media and community-building efforts, positioning itself as a platform for retail traders seeking to grow their capital and trading careers with external funding.
