Flipkart, in collaboration with Vivo, unveils a campaign titled ‘ZoomInOnIndia’, in partnership with YouthBeat and SW Studios. The initiative, designed to spotlight the photographic capabilities of the Vivo X100 smartphone, aims to redefine perceptions of India by capturing its essence beyond conventional stereotypes.

At the heart of the campaign lies a concerted effort to showcase India’s diverse landscapes and bustling urban centers through the lens of the Vivo X100’s camera. Photography enthusiasts were invited to explore iconic Indian locales such as Banaras, Srinagar, Darjeeling, and Pondicherry during the golden hour, utilising the advanced features of the smartphone to encapsulate the nation’s vibrancy.

Managed by SW Studios, the production arm of Sociowash, the campaign ensured the seamless execution of captivating photo walks and the production of compelling visual content. Meanwhile, YouthBeat spearheaded the conceptualisation and launch of the ‘Incredible India Through Your Lens’ Photography Contest, attracting over 5000 entries from individuals eager to showcase India’s rich cultural heritage using their smartphones.

Renowned celebrity photographers, including Abhishek Jammwal, Abbas Baig, Sanket Joshi, and Abdul Rouf, lent their expertise to the campaign, inspiring participants to contribute their unique perspectives of India. Additionally, the campaign fostered engagement with nine esteemed colleges, including Amity University, Ramjas, and Hindu College, among others, further amplifying its reach and impact.

“With this campaign, our aim was to redefine how we perceive the Indian landscape through the lens of photography. And what better way to achieve this than with something that’s just an arm’s reach away – your phone.  At Sociowash, we believe we’ve done exceptionally well, given our understanding of the current youth fraternity. It’s truly heartening to witness the overwhelming response and active participation from young photography enthusiasts across the nation. This campaign was designed to be a two-way interactive experience, and platforms like Instagram played a pivotal role in its success. The ‘ZoomInOnIndia’ initiative not only resonated with our target audience but also sparked engaging conversations within the community,” Raghav Bagai, co-founder, Sociowash, said.
