Centrum launches the #LookDeeper initiative in honor of International Women’s Day. The campaign aims to educate women about addressing deeper nutritional deficiencies rather than relying on superficial solutions. With data indicating that a majority of Indian women may be deficient in multivitamins, the campaign stresses the importance of comprehensive nutrition. It advocates for a balanced diet supplemented with appropriate multivitamins for a healthy lifestyle across all age groups. As part of the initiative, Centrum has released a series of digital films featuring Celebrity Yoga Practitioner, Anshuka Parwani.
The #LookDeeper campaign, through its engaging digital films, addresses common concerns many women face such as hair loss, dull skin, body aches, and fatigue. While women might resort to short term fixes to deal with these concerns, these issues could be potential signs of nutritional gaps. Centrum encourages women to understand that the root cause might be linked to the deficiencies within their bodies, underscoring the importance of proactive nutritional care through small changes to daily routines, such as eating a healthy & balanced diet and adding multivitamins to one’s diet to fill nutritional gaps. The goal is to inspire them to not only invest in themselves, but also invest in their ability to show up fully for the people and responsibilities that matters most to them.
“In today’s dynamic society, women often lead multifaceted lives, balancing numerous responsibilities. Yet, in caring for themselves, they might tend to look at external, quick solutions rather than addressing internal nutritional needs. This International Women’s Day, through Centrum’s #LookDeeper campaign, we want all women to pause and consider what their bodies truly require internally for their optimal well-being. Emphasizing the importance of multivitamins, we are educating women to delve deeper into their nutritional needs for long-term health,” Garima Gupta, category lead- Vitamin and Mineral Supplements, Haleon ISC, said.
Centrum’s initiative underlines the evolving needs of women throughout various life stages. Whether it’s sustaining robust bones or maintaining optimal energy levels, the campaign stresses the significance of understanding dietary deficiencies and their potential impact, often neglected by women. Multivitamins play a pivotal role in addressing these deficiencies. For instance, Vitamin D deficiency is prevalent among women due to changing lifestyles. Fatigue, commonly experienced by women, can stem from Iron and B12 deficiencies. Additionally, Vitamin A assumes importance in safeguarding eye health. Hence, the incorporation of multivitamins and minerals is essential for women to thrive.
