In a significant leadership development, TVS Motor Company has officially announced that Sudarshan Venu will assume the role of Chairman and Managing Director of the company, effective August 25, 2025. The decision was unanimously approved by the Board of Directors, acknowledging Mr. Venu’s strategic contributions and dynamic leadership during his tenure as Managing Director.
This transition comes as the current Chairman, Ralf Speth, will step down from his position following the company’s Annual General Meeting on August 22, 2025. Ralf, who has served as Chairman for three years, played a pivotal role in guiding the company through global expansion and fostering a culture of innovation. In recognition of his continued value to the organisation, Ralf will be appointed as Chief Mentor for a term of three years beginning August 23, 2025.

Chairman Emeritus, Venu Srinivasan, expressed deep appreciation for Ralf’s leadership and warmly welcomed Sudarshan Venu into his new role. “Sudarshan has demonstrated tremendous growth and leadership, and I am confident he will continue to elevate the company,” Srinivasan stated, highlighting TVS Motor’s legacy of quality, technology, and customer centricity.
