Ford Endeavour is mega indeed and what’s more, it looks big from each and every angle you check it out from. That was true of the older model, but the newer model looks to do an even better jobs of showcasing its ‘size’ to lure potential buyers.
1. Ford Endeavour: Launch
This is clear from the ‘new’ Ford Endeavour that is now showcased on the carmaker’s official website. What more this fact points to is that the launch of the massive SUV could take place sooner than expected – the same was the case with Figo Aspire, which was first featured two months back on the portal and was launched on the 12 of August.
2. Ford Endeavour: Skin Deep Scrutiny
The new Ford Endeavour page only highlights the major features of the car but there are some more changes in the car that we drove a few days back – in Thailand. For instance, the Everest badge has been removed for the time being from dashboard and other places. The SUV is expected to get Endeavour lettering instead. Other than this, the car on the automaker’s website remains same as the model that we got our hands on in Thailand.
3. Ford Endeavour: Exterior
But that is just a skin deep scrutiny. Delving deeper into the new Ford Endeavour we find that it is ages ahead of its previous India avatar in looks and engine. The SUV looks beefier with a stubby nose that flaunts a grown up EcoSport nose, the latest in design output from the American manufacturer. A better looking front and rear bumper with similar setup and integrated foglamps upfront and reflectors at the back can be seen too. The sides are bestowed with 20-inch diamond cut wheels that find home in massive arches (wheel-well) accentuated by fender flares, chrome bezel embossed with the respective engine moniker.
4. Ford Endeavour: Engine
Powering the all new Endeavour will be two engine options, a monster one-off in-line 5 cylinder TDCi diesel with 470Nm of torque and another one that is 2.2 litre TDCi. The first one will be offered with automatic and manual transmission options, while the second motor will be offered with manual alone.
Keep checking this space for the latest on the SUV.
