While the Maruti Ciaz RS petrol is priced at Rs. 9.20 lakh, the SHVS diesel hybrid-engined Ciaz RS comes at Rs. 10.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
In a bid to lure more buyers during the ongoing festive season, Maruti Suzuki today introduced a new trim of the Ciaz in the country. Called the Maruti Ciaz RS, the new trim shares its features and underpinnings with the Z+ trim (ZXi+ and ZDi+) of the sedan. While the Maruti Ciaz RS petrol is priced at Rs. 9.20 lakh, the SHVS diesel hybrid-engined Ciaz RS comes at Rs. 10.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With the new trim, the Ciaz now has a total of 14 variants in its lineup.
In addition to the features offered with the Z+ trim, the Maruti Ciaz RS gets a grey-chrome finished instrument panel and a spoiler pack that includes front under spoiler, side under spoiler, trunk lid spoiler and rear underbody spoiler. Besides offering a distinct look to the Ciaz RS, these spoilers will also enhance the aerodynamics of the car.
With over 56,000 units sold ever since its launch in October 2014, the Maruti Ciaz is currently the second best-selling mid-sized sedan. The segment is still ruled by the Honda City with an average monthly sales of over 6,000.
