June 2025 auto sales live: We have crossed the six-month mark for 2025, and four and two-wheeler makers are set to announce their sales numbers for June 2025. Our big question remains as to how automotive sales were last month — have carmakers posted growth compared to May 2025 and June 2024?
In the last few months, we have seen the trend shift in the industry, looking at Indian carmakers slowly gaining popularity, such as Mahindra outselling Hyundai to grab the second spot, and at times, Tata Motors as well.
So far, we have seen Bajaj, MG, Kia, Tata Motors, Suzuki, and Toyota share their sales numbers. Bajaj has seen a decline in domestic sales, while its exports have seen an increase. MG and Toyota have both seen positive YoY growth in June 2025, while Skoda and Kia have seen positive H1 growth. Suzuki has also seen consistent sales.
Maruti Suzuki has also announced numbers and seen a YoY decline in domestic PV sales, and also across all categories apart from the mid-size sedan segment. The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, which is at the end of its life cycle, has seen positive growth, albeit in small numbers.
